Foi hoje anunciado pela Bethesda, Avalanche Studios e id Software que Rage 2 receberá a primeira expansão ainda este mês. Esta terá o nome de Rise of the Ghost e chega já no dia 26 de Setembro.
Rage 2 foi lançado no dia 14 de Maio para PlayStation 4 e Xbox One.
